Engraving Etiquette
There are a few general best practices that we recommend when giving an engraved gift...
First, when giving an item as a gift, it should be their name, not yours. For example, if you are getting married and handing out engraved pens to your groomsmen as presents, it should be their name and not that of you and your spouse.
When it is an anniversay, it is the date of the anniversary, a 25th Wedding, would be the current year 1st June 2009 etc. not the year of the marriage.
Dates should always be in the same format: 01/01/09 or 1st January 2009 , not mixed.
Also, less is more when it comes to your engraved message. The persons name, date of event, and name of event. A short phrase or quote on the back of a piece is acceptable. If you have a personal message to go along with the gift, it is generally best to include that in a card that would accompany the engraved gift.
Engraving Fonts

Monogram is for initials only.
We have over 900+ fonts available, but these are not the same as Microsoft Word, so please do not think we can engrave these fonts, if there is one which you like please let us know and we will see if we can find a suitable option.
Please consider the size of the gift, a message that fits on a hip flask, will not fit on a small keyring, well, okay it will but you'll need a magnifying glass to read it !!
Like the old saying " measure twice, cut once "
This also applies to your engraved message, always check it twice, because what we see is what we will engrave, if it's all in capitals, that is what you will receive, same applies to lower case, see below
